Le Anh Nguyen Long is a board in the Samdhana Institute and a member of the European Urban Research Association. She holds a Joint Ph.D. in Public Policy and Political Science from Indiana University, Bloomington, which she earned in 2012, as well as a Bachelor of Arts with a joint degree in Economics and Political Science and a minor in Italian from the same university, which she obtained in 2001.

She has held various research positions throughout her career, including as a Research Scientist at the Center for Environmental Policy and Behavior at the University of California, Davis from 2013 to 2018, a Research Fellow at the Chair of International Relations and Sustainable Development at the University of Münster Institute for Political Science in 2015, and a Research Associate at the Indiana University Institute for Development Strategies from 2012 to 2013.

Earlier in her career, she worked as a Research Director at the Indiana Economic Development Council, Inc. from 2003 to 2005 and as a Labor Market Analyst at the Indiana Department for Workforce Development from 2001 to 2003.
