Gathering data on potential participants to the project. Target participants are UXO (unexploded ordinance) survivors and PWDs (Persons with Disabilities) and their family members.
Capacity-building and training activities for sewing and producing good quality laptop computer bags with Hmong art (Padao). Padao is a traditional flower (patterned) cloth sewn by Hmong women for their clothing. This is created or worn especially for the Hmong new year.
Hmong laptop bags with Padao art will be marketed in the USA, as well as for tourists visiting the QLA shop.
Family economic training-basic skills in financial management and savings.
