The Nusantara Harvest Festival (Parara) 2015 has been successfully introduce local communities products to the city, especially Jakarta residents. Since Saturday (6/6) to Sunday (7/6) festival was opened by Deputy II Production Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, I Wayan Dipta, in Banteng Square Jakarta. It's draw attention to the variety of products ranging from handicrafts, local food, woven with natural dyes to wild honey from various parts of the archipelago. Support by 22 organization Parara is not only an exhibition, but also presents a variety of workshops, discussions, music until the race called "Envirunment".

Honey and weaving to be hunted visitors, seen from the height of JMHI booth, booth of Gerai Nusantara (AMAN), Teras Mitra, Borneo Chic and others. Forest honey from APDS, Lake Sentarum, Odeng of Banten, Mount Mutis Forest Honey and Forest Honey Flores looks crowded booths lined up at the counter JMHI. The visitors were mostly environmental activists and concerned about community empowerment seen already not too clouds with forest honey.

In his speech I Wayan Dipta was pleased to participate because of the vision and mission Production from Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs inline with Parara.

"The Ministry of Cooperatives through SMEs have a program to empower local products in the country in order to compete with foreign products that enter. With the Harvest archipelago we can develop local products with high quality," He said.

In addition food and non-timber forest products, Parara 2015 also serves local traditional games and seeds are increasingly difficult to find. Festival organizers hope that this exhibition is not just to be a celebration but also encourage the development of creative economy and sustainable products based indigenous communities.

Chief of Dayak Customary Liwi Ghia Paro in one occasion stated there are about 1.00035 million hectares of indigenous forest in the region that is currently maintained, and planted organic rice.

"Previously generated rice is white rice and brown rice is used for own consumption. But since it opened access road infrastructure, red rice produced could be marketed out of the territory even to Brunei Darussalam, "he explained.

The Nusantara Harvest Festival 2015 proved that the products which have just heard can be seen directly. Visitors not only can buy, but interact directly with the manufacturer and listen directly to the history and philosophy of the local product.
