Supporting Higaonon Community Enterprise on Lemongrass Oil Processing

The PAMALIHI Tribal Community in Balingasag, Misamis Oriental, Philippines is a long-time partner of Samdhana Institute. Pamalihi Tribal Community is starting their livelihood on lemongrass oil processing after three grants through the Indigenous Peoples Support Fund (IPSF).
Through these years of partnership, we have assisted Pamalihi in ensuring their food security, establish their lemongrass plantation and secure the distillation machine. Samdhana-funded projects served to leverage assistance from the Dept. of Agriculture and Bureau of Fisheries and other organizations. The learning and experience with Pamalihi helps Samdhana to craft an IP business model.
