There is something different in the event of the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) to IV AMAN (The Indigenous Peoples' Alliance of the Archipelago) in Sorong, West Papua, Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Minister of Home Affairs Tjahjo Kumolo directly opens the event that was attended by a delegation of more than 200 indigenous people and was held in Woronai Aimas (Aimas field ). The presence of the government in the event of indigenous people is expected to be a moment of reconciliation.

Minister Tjahjo specifically said that the indigenous peoples existed before the state was born. There are parts of the country where there are territorial customary rights, jurisdiction and legal authority from the past that still have an impact and where there is still a lack of trust in the government. This bump needs to be overcome to be able to build a positive NKRI law with clear regulations.

The Minister also asked regents and mayors to pay attention to the indigenous people in their respective areas. As it is President Jokowi's commitment to start development from the border areas of villages including the traditional villages, empowering indigenous people in the process of progress forward that should not be marginalized.

A draft of a bill PPHMA asserted that the government will continue to seek realization of expectations.

"We are making efforts to get into the Prolegnas (national legislation). We will make efforts for 2016, "Tjahjo said.

In the dialogue session, the Minister of Environment and Forestry, Siti Nurbaya, also explained her wishes about natural resources and the desire to provide the same access to natural resources for future generations. The program for community forests, village forests, indigenous forests and traditional villages will be formulated as good and detailed as possible. Then we cooperate well with AMAN and the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM).

"Based on our Mk35, we will realize and we will actualize. If there is an identity then there is a territory. Until now we have already issued 1.9 million hectares for HKR and HD. We will reformulate because the indigenous people have a different format.

The opening parade start from Hoki Field, Sorong city, and forms the beginning of the opening phase of this national meeting. All the present people felt a good atmosphere upon their arrival at Woronai Aimas. In traditional clothing all participants were welcomed by the Chairman of the Board of Suku Moi, Mr Dominggus Osok.
