Samdhana is responding to the above challenges by committing to support work to secure and defend the rights of Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLCs) to have access, control, and responsibility over their territories and well-being; the promotion of sustainable livelihoods; and the development of community-based institutions and their networks to strengthen local initiatives for sustainable resource management and effective governance.
